Long time Hot Wheels collector from the moment they hit the pegs in 68. Coincidentally, it was the exact moment I stopped collecting Matchbox!! I held onto my
childhood collection. My interest was renewed at a car swap meet at the Pomona Fairgrounds in 1987. I saw people selling blisters for $8 and loose cars for $3.
It caught me by surprise. Within a short time, I filled all the holes in my collection, which spans 68-72. In 72, I bought my Schwinn Varsity, and my interests
went on to more adolescent things (like girls and real cars). I still love the little toy cars. They are the greatest little toys from my youth!
